Hello everyone. Bryce woke up last night from the coma, and he had a fairly good day today. All signs are good for continued progress, and he is just looking forward to eating and drinking and talking! In spite of the fact that the doctors do not want him to speak yet, and have prevented him from doing so with the tracheotomy, Bryce had many deep discussions with me today. He is his reflective, thoughtful, philosophical self that I love. He wants to post his own thoughts, but only when he can speak again, which should be in a couple of days, if not tomorrow. Thank you for your support, and every word you write, he reads. I hold the computer up, and he smiles or tears up, and loves you all. - Bryce's Mother
